 A resort lifestyle is one that transports you to a different state of mind regardless of where you are. In addition, there is a transition that takes place when packing for a warm climate where there is an introduction of color and an airy nature that makes this kind of a vacation different than anything else. As a former model and someone who has worked within the fashion industry for a number of years, the idea to accessorize while still having a distinct flair was essential. These thoughts came to mind when founder and designer, Kimmie Smith created Kitten Couture while away on a vacation in South Beach. With her love of natural stones and shells and the need to allow others to wear their pieces in the manner that suited them best, Kitten Couture emerged.
Living in NYC and constantly traveling to various locales or working throughout the day whether that meant her jewelry line, working as Editor in Chief of Kitten Lounge or her social media firm, Sikara Designs Group Kimmie wanted to create the resort lifestyle that could be taken anywhere regardless of the climate. In addition, she believed that whether you were headed to a meeting, brunch or just going out for the evening, the pieces should be able to work with a number of looks for true versatility. Kitten Couture has participated in Shecky's Girl's Night Out, been included within the Cast Wrap Goodie Bag for Renee Zellweger, Chris Noth and Kevin Bacon's 'My One and Only' movie and will participate in the American Cancer Society's Pink and Black Tie Gala hosted by Stacy London on May 7th of this year. Kitten Couture is handmade and made of natural stones and shells which may create slight variations in hues! In addition, pieces will arrive to you within two weeks.
